Train The Trainer

In larger organisations, sending all members of staff on fire awareness training can be a costly, time-consuming and impractical business.  That’s why DDA Fire have developed the ‘Train the Trainer’ fire safety training solution.  With our "Train the Trainer" courses, we will train a small number of people within your organisation, not only to be Fire Marshals, but also to be qualified and able to carry-out Basic Fire Awareness Training for all your staff as an in-house service.  We have found this approach very popular with larger businesses, as it saves you time and money, and also enables the Basic Fire Awareness Training to be carried-out as a standard part of staff induction and annual training.  Our "Train the Trainer" courses cover the following subjects:-

• Fire awareness
• Raising the alarm
• Calling the fire service
• Location and use of fire extinguishers

All trainees will get hands-on experience in using water and/or CO2 extinguishers on a simulated live fire. All trainers will receive a certificate on completion. 

How Does "Train the Trainer" Work?

Our fire safety instructors will teach your dedicated fire marshals or fire wardens how deliver Basic Fire Awareness Training to your staff.  They will then be fully-equipped to train all of your employees in Basic Fire Awareness in-house.  It’s a cost-effective way of ensuring your workforce receive the right training without the need to send each individual on a course.
