Fire Marshall Training

It is a legal requirement for business owners to ensure that there are appropriate evacuation procedures in place and sufficient numbers of competent persons (Fire Marshals) in order to safely evacuate any building under their control?

Where necessary, business owners must carry out fire safety drills to ensure that their evacuation procedures function as intended?

If a fire breaks out and there is death or injury as a result of non-compliance of this law, the person responsible (usually the business Owners/Directors) can face a substantial prison sentence and/or fine?

If you are based in London or the South East, DDA Fire have a dedicated team of fire safety experts ready to provide you with Fire Marshall Training for your employees, and can even organise bespoke courses to fit within your budget and requirements. Our Fire Marshall courses are normally held as either a morning or afternoon session, and include training on the following topics:-

The uses and operation of different types of fire extinguisher
Other fire safety equipment and its uses
The assessment of simple general fire risks
Fire hazards and how to report them
Action to be taken in the event of a fire
Safely controlling fires in their early stages
Fire drills and the marshal’s responsibilities
Safe evacuation of staff

Our Fire Marshall courses are for a maximum of 12 people, with all trainees given an opportunity to use water and CO2 fire extinguishers on a controlled live fire, and a certificate issued on completion.
